1. Installation requirements for lighting fixtures
1. Before installation, the lamps and their accessories should be complete, and there should be no defects such as mechanical damage, deformation, peeling paint and lampshade cracking.
2. According to the installation site and use of the lamps, the minimum cross-section of the wires leading to each lamp should comply with the relevant regulations.
3. When installing electrical lighting devices in masonry structures, pre-embedded hooks, bolts, screws, expansion bolts, nylon plugs or plastic plugs should be used for fixing; wooden wedges are strictly prohibited. When the design is not specified, the bearing capacity of the above-mentioned fixing parts should match the weight of the electric lighting device.
4. In the more dangerous and special dangerous places, when the height of the lamps is less than 2.4 meters from the ground, the lighting lamps with a rated voltage of 36 volts and below should be used or protective measures should be taken. Lamps should not be installed directly on combustible objects; when the high temperature part of the lamp surface is close to combustible objects, measures for heat insulation and heat dissipation should be taken. In the substation, lamps and lanterns should not be installed directly above the high-voltage and low-voltage power distribution equipment and busbars. For lamps installed outdoors, the height from the ground should not be less than 3 meters; when installed on the wall, the height from the ground should not be less than 2.5 meters.
2. Wiring requirements for screw caps
1. The wiring should be connected to the terminal of the center contact, and the neutral wire should be connected to the terminal of the screw.
2. The insulating shell of the lamp holder should not be damaged or leaked.
3. For lamp caps with switches, the switch handle should not have exposed metal parts. For ceiling lamps equipped with incandescent bulbs, the bulb should not be close to the lampshade; when the distance between the bulb and the insulating table is less than 5 mm, heat insulation measures should be taken between the bulb and the insulating table.
3. Installation requirements for lamps
1. When using steel pipe as the hanger of the lamp, the inner diameter of the steel pipe should not be less than 10 mm; the thickness of the steel pipe wall should not be less than 1.5 mm.
2. The light wire of the hanging chain lamp should not be under tension, and the light wire should be woven together with the hanging chain.
3. Both ends of the flexible wire of the flexible wire chandelier should be protected by buckles, and the core wires at both ends should be tinned.
4. For lamps installed in rows in the same room or place, the deviation of the center line should not be greater than 5 mm.
5. Fluorescent lamps and high-pressure mercury lamps and their accessories should be used together, and the installation location should be convenient for inspection and maintenance.
6. Fixture of lamps and lanterns should be firm and reliable. The number of screws or bolts for fixing each luminaire shall not be less than 2; when the diameter of the insulating table is 75 mm or less, it can be fixed with 1 bolt or screw.
Fourth, lighting maintenance precautions
The lamps must be used at the predetermined voltage and frequency. All grounded lamps must be checked frequently for grounding. Specially restricted and regulated lamps are generally used at an ambient temperature of 5-35°C. Lamps used indoors cannot be moved to outdoor use. Ordinary light bulbs should not be used on the top and parts of heaters such as electric, gas, and kerosene stoves, or in places that directly encounter steam. Bulbs that cannot exceed the specified wattage in the luminaire. The power must be cut off when changing lamps, removing covers and fuses.
The floor heater should be checked for safety lighting to ensure that no abnormality occurs. After the emergency lamps are turned on in high temperature gas (140 degrees Celsius), they can no longer be used and should be replaced with new lamps. Items such as paper and cloth should not be placed near or cover the luminaire. Fix lamps and lanterns in places where there can no longer be dangerous substances such as gas and steam, but should be carried out in general places; when it cannot be carried out, ensure safe operation.
Scrub lamps with warm water or wring out a cloth soaked in soapy water, but not with gasoline, volatile oil, etc. The metal part of the lamp can not use polishing powder at will. The dust behind the lamp should be cleaned with a dry cloth or duster. When an abnormal situation occurs during the use of the lamp, stop using it, cut off the power supply, and conduct an inspection.
Five, lighting installation precautions and essentials
The most basic requirement for the installation of lamps and lanterns is that they must be firm. When installing bedside lamps, table lamps, mirror headlamps, floor lamps, wall lamps and other lamps indoors, if the height is less than 24m and below, the metal shell of the lamps should be grounded reliably to ensure safe use. A ground wire should also be added to the light box when wiring.
When installing various types of lamps on the decorative ceiling, it should be installed according to the requirements of the installation instructions of the lamps. Moreover, the dark wires in the ceiling or siding must be protected by flame retardant sleeves. When the weight of the lamp is greater than 3kg, the pre-embedded hook should be used or the support and hanger should be directly fixed with expansion bolts from the roof (the lamps cannot be installed with the keel bracket of the flat ceiling). The wires coming out of the lamp head box should be protected by a hose to the lamp position to prevent the wires from being exposed in the flat top.
When installing low-foot lamp holders in bathrooms and kitchens, it is advisable to use porcelain screw-type low-foot lamp holders. The wiring and phase wire (switch wire) of the screw cap should be connected to the central contact terminal, and the neutral wire should be connected to the screw terminal. The most important and most basic part of the installation process: lamps with switches, such as table lamps, should have no exposed metal parts at the beginning of the handle for safety.
